    • Spain are the European Under-21 champions, after beating Switzerland 2-0 in the final. Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera headed in to make it 1-0 after 41 minutes, Barcelona's Thiago Alcantara double the score with a sensational 40-yard free-kick in the 82nd minute.
